Your Muscles are Needed!

Encounter Church launched an exciting build-out expansion this past fall that has allowed us to move into a larger facility geared toward engaging the culture with God’s Love and Truth. We’ve titled this build-out expansion project:transform – transforming a building to transform lives.

Over the last several years, we've seen lives challenged, relationships restored and family trees changed. This new facility provides us with more space to continue to see life transformation take place.

On January 28-29 (Friday and Saturday), your muscles are needed! We’re nearing completion of the facility and need you to help us finish the project strong. On Friday, we’ll work from 8 AM - 8 PM. On Saturday we’ll work from 8 AM - 4 PM. Meals will be provided.

The projects needing to be finished include painting, installing vinyl wall base, general organization, thorough cleaning and limited construction. There will be jobs for all skill levels.

Whether you can be involved for both days or just a few hours, your help will enable us to have the building completed for our Dedication Sunday on March 6.

Serving Opportunities.

Don't miss out on serving within Encounter Church. Listed below are the opportunities to serve. How will you get involved?

 

Teachers/Assistants

Teachers and assistants are needed for our Sunday morning children's classes. 

The age groups include 2-3s, 1st-3rd grade and 4th - 6th grade.

The teaching rotation is two weeks on with four weeks off

We do require that our teachers are Partners. The assistants do not need to be Partners.

 

Refreshment Attendant

Attendants are needed for our Sunday morning refreshment table.

The rotation is flexible.

Partnership is not required.

Greeters

Individuals are needed to greet and welcome attenders and guests as they arrive to our Worship Gatherings and within the auditorium.

Partnership is preferred but not required.

Building Upkeep

In an effort to keep our new building looking as clean as possible, we need groups of individuals or families to clean and prepare the facility for the Sunday Morning Worship Gathering.

The rotation is flexible

Partnership is not required.

Financial Assistants

If you enjoy counting money then your help is needed to count the offering on Sunday mornings after the Worship Gatherings.

The rotation is flexible.

Partnership is not required.
